Can't wait for summer...or for the snow to be gone

In this post I'll tell you about how you can get 50% off the Herbal One program...first a rant.

When I woke up this morning I was greeted to a view of sunshine and a green lawn. It was nice to see the grass back, even if it was still frigid outside. Alas all my happiness would disappear when I discovered the 15cm of snow that was in the forcast.

I hate snow. Both the fluffly kind and the Canadian rapper. I'll tell you why I hate snow. Three winters in Northern Ontario caused me to hate snow. Imagine if you will, 8 foot hill snowbanks. Do you have any idea how hard it is to shovel snow over an 8-foot high snowbank???

Maybe you're having trouble seeing it in your mind....here's some photos to help:

These photos are from my former roommate in Timmins, ON from our old house.

You can see how much snow has fallen there as of mid-January. Keep in mind, this is a "light" year for snow in the North.

How I never suffered a snow-shovelling related heart attack is beyond me.

Oh and here's the best part...

In the 3+ years I lived in Timmins, there was only one month out of 12 where it DID NOT snow - AUGUST! I saw it snow every month. I kid you not when I say it snowed on Canada Day one year.

So now you know why I'm a little down on days when it snows. Maybe some day I'll find a love for it once again, but until then (and with apologies to Bill Porter and all other skiers, snowmobiles, etc) I HATE SNOW!!!

Okay moving along...I'm at the halfway point of Week 4 on the Herbal One program and so far everything is going well. In fact, I didn't mention this in the last entry, but if you contact Herbal One and mention that you heard about it on Energy or from me, they'll give you 50% off the program. It's a heck of a value and well worth getting in touch with them for a consultation.

Give them a call at 748-9999 and the staff will get you set up and answer any questions you may have.

Until next time, Happy Shovelling!
